What would we see if we looked at the sky through an astronomer’s eyes?
In this workshop, we’ll learn how to observe and understand the sky, just like astronomers do. We’ll look up and discover the fascinating universe above us: stars, planets, the Moon, constellations and many other celestial treasures. Through observation games and fun little experiments, we’ll learn how to find our way around the sky, identify the cardinal directions and understand the apparent movement of stars and planets. We’ll also try to identify some constellations and discover the stories behind them. But, above all, we’ll learn to think like an astronomer: asking questions, observing, comparing and interpreting what we discover.
Are you ready to look up and see the sky in a whole new way? Come and explore the Universe!
