The Passion for Knowledge 2026 programme will include a training workshop for doctoral students from all scientific disciplines, organized in collaboration with Euskampus Fundazioa.
Titled Scientific Discovery in the Era of AI, the workshop will address one of the issues most profoundly transforming scientific research today: What happens to the process of discovery when artificial intelligence begins to generate hypotheses, analyze data, and propose new lines of research?
The development of cross-disciplinary competencies plays an increasingly important role in doctoral education, complementing scientific excellence with essential skills in communication, critical thinking, leadership, collaboration, and adaptation to new technological environments. In this context, artificial intelligence poses new challenges related to creativity, authorship, trust in scientific results, and the researcher’s role in knowledge generation.
The event will bring together doctoral students and prestigious scientists invited to Passion for Knowledge 2026, providing a space for direct interaction. More than just a conference, the workshop offers an engaging experience in which attendees will move from collective reflection to direct dialogue with internationally renowned scientists, fostering the exchange of experiences and critical reflection on the challenges that will shape future research.
Participation in this event requires prior registration.
